On June 24, FIA Moldova’s Executive Director, Ana Groza, participated as an Enlargement Candidate Member (ECM) at the final meeting concerning Opinion/590 – “Screening of Foreign Investment in the Union” on the platform of the EESC – European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
The meeting, held in Brussels, included representatives from employers’ organizations, trade unions, and civil society.
Established in 1958, the EESC is a consultative body of the European Union. It provides a forum for various economic and social interest groups to express their views on EU issues, aiming to promote participatory democracy in Europe. The Committee plays a crucial role in the EU decision-making process by issuing opinions on proposed legislation and policies, ensuring a broad spectrum of views and interests are considered.
