On November 8, 2017, FIA representatives participated at public debates at the Economic Council to the Prime Minister on the amendment of the law on copyright and related rights. The business environment, AGEPI and Collective Management Organizations agreed upon working together to look for optimal solutions that could be the basis for issuing draft amendments to the law nr. 139. The participants involved in the process will develop within the next 2 weeks a new version of the draft amendments that will take into account the views of all stakeholders, outlined during the meeting.
