EC meeting: Law on copyright and neighboring rights

On 11th of September, on the Economic Council under the Prime-minister’s platform took place the meeting on applying the amount of compensatory remuneration under Law 139/2010 on copyright and neighboring rights. The debates are organized at the request of representatives of the business community and members of the Economic Council.

Topics proposed for debates:

• the basis for calculating the compensatory remuneration (currently – 3% of the value of sales),
• the list of items for sale to which the compensatory remuneration applies.
