The Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), represented by its leadership and member companies, participated today in the “EBA Business Outlook 2026” Conference, organized under the auspices of the European Business Association 🤝.
The event agenda brought together high-level officials from the Republic of Moldova 🇲🇩 and the European Union 🇪🇺, business representatives, and economic analysts 📈 from both Moldova and the EU, who shared perspectives on regional economic development trends, as well as the current geopolitical and economic framework of the Republic of Moldova. Additionally, development opportunities and competitive advantages that can be leveraged at the national level were highlighted.
The event aimed to present the budgetary outlook of the EU’s new Multiannual Financial Framework, practical aspects of implementing the Growth Plan 📑, and opportunities related to the development of the capital market 💹 and financial instruments under EU legislation, with potential application in the Republic of Moldova.
Furthermore, recent developments and investment opportunities in the natural gas and energy resources sectors of the Republic of Moldova were discussed. In this context, FIA member company representatives actively participated in the panels dedicated to the energy sector, highlighting business perspectives and investment opportunities in the Republic of Moldova.
