On September 12, 2025, the Dispute Resolution Council within the Environmental Protection Inspectorate held a regular session to review a preliminary request submitted by a state enterprise seeking the annulment of inspection findings issued by the inspectorate in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority in the environmental field.
During the meeting, Council members conducted a thorough analysis of the legal and factual arguments supporting the request. Particular attention was given to assessing whether the inspection process and subsequent findings adhered to the principles of procedural fairness, regulatory compliance, and due process.
The session reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the consistent application of state control regulations in the Republic of Moldova.
