On December 16, 2025, another regular session of the Dispute Resolution Council of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) was held to review a couple of preliminary requests submitted by two economic operators seeking the annulment of inspection findings issued by ANSA in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority.
During the meeting, Council members conducted a thorough analysis of the legal and factual arguments presented in support of the requests. Particular attention was given to assessing whether the inspection process and subsequent findings adhered to the principles of procedural fairness, regulatory compliance, and due process.
This session reaffirms the Council’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the consistent application of state control regulations in the Republic of Moldova.
The Dispute Resolution Council serves as an impartial body within ANSA, responsible for reviewing challenges and appeals submitted by economic operators regarding inspection outcomes. Its work ensures the protection of both consumer safety and business rights.
