On November 6, 2025, the Dispute Resolution Council under the Environmental Protection Inspectorate convened its regular session to examine a preliminary request submitted by an economic operator active in the hazardous waste management sector. The request sought the annulment of inspection findings issued by the Inspectorate in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority in the environmental field.
During the meeting, Council members conducted a comprehensive analysis of the legal and factual arguments presented in support of the request. Particular attention was devoted to assessing whether the inspection process and its conclusions complied with the principles of procedural fairness, regulatory conformity, and due process.
The session reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the consistent application of state control regulations in the Republic of Moldova.
