On October 7, 2025, the Dispute Resolution Council within the Environmental Protection Inspectorate held a regular session to examine a preliminary request submitted by an economic operator seeking the annulment of inspection findings issued by the Inspectorate in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority in the environmental field.
During the meeting, Council members carried out a thorough analysis of the legal and factual arguments presented in support of the request. Particular attention was given to evaluating whether the inspection process and its conclusions adhered to the principles of procedural fairness, regulatory compliance, and due process.
The session reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the consistent application of state control regulations in the Republic of Moldova.
