The Dispute Resolution Council within the Environmental Protection Inspectorate held a regular meeting to examine a preliminary request submitted by an economic operator concerning the annulment of inspection findings related to the management of dangerous (hazardous) waste.
During the session, Council members conducted a comprehensive review of the legal and factual arguments presented in the case, with particular emphasis on verifying compliance with environmental protection standards and national regulations governing the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste.
Special attention was devoted to assessing whether the inspection process and its conclusions respected the principles of procedural fairness, regulatory proportionality, and due process.
The Council reaffirmes its commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and the consistent application of environmental control legislation in the Republic of Moldova.
