On February 04, 2026, the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) convened a regular session of its Dispute Resolution Council. The primary focus of the meeting was the review several preliminary appeals submitted by few companies requesting the annulment of inspection findings issued by ANSA in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority.
Council members reviewed the submitted documentation alongside the explanations provided by the Inspectorate’s inspection representatives. The meeting included detailed technical and legal discussions aimed at clarifying the issues raised and determining a fair resolution in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
The active involvement of the business community in such councils plays a crucial role in ensuring that regulatory procedures are applied fairly, transparently, and consistently—thereby enhancing trust and confidence in the institutional framework.
