On 29 July 2026, the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) convened a regular meeting of its Dispute Resolution Council to examine a preliminary appeal submitted by an economic operator operating in the wholesale trade sector.
The appeal sought the annulment of inspection findings issued by ANSA in its capacity as the competent regulatory authority. During the session, Council members conducted a comprehensive review of the submitted documentation and carefully considered the explanations provided by representatives of the Inspectorate. The discussions included a detailed technical and legal analysis aimed at clarifying the issues raised and identifying solutions in line with the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
The participation of the business community in such proceedings plays a crucial role in ensuring that regulatory processes are fair, transparent, and consistent, thereby strengthening trust in public institutions.
