On December 15, the State Labour Inspectorate (ISM) held a regular meeting of its Dispute Resolution Council to review a preliminary appeal submitted by an economic operator from the transportation sector. The appeal challenged the findings of an ISM inspection conducted in its capacity as the national labor regulatory authority.
Following deliberations, the members of the Dispute Resolution Council voted to annul the state control action, as it had been carried out in violation of legal provisions.
Such meetings play a vital role in ensuring transparency, fairness, and legal consistency in the application of regulatory measures. The constructive involvement of the business community in these processes strengthens institutional trust and contributes to a more predictable and balanced regulatory environment.
FIA Moldova was represented at the meeting by experts from member companies with relevant experience in the subject matter under review.
