The Dispute Resolution Council of the Environmental Protection Inspectorate convened to examine a preliminary request submitted by an economic operator regarding alleged illegal deforestation.
The request stemmed from the company’s disagreement with the findings set out in the Inspection Report. During the meeting, Council members heard the representative of the economic operator, reviewed the case documentation, and considered the statements presented by the Inspectorate’s inspection team.
Discussions focused on both the technical and legal aspects of the case, with the aim of clarifying the issues raised and ensuring a fair and balanced resolution in line with the applicable legal framework.
