📊 FIA | Dialogue for a Modern Accounting and Financial Reporting Framework
On 13 August, the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) participated in the public consultations organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova on proposed amendments to the regulatory framework governing accounting, financial reporting and statutory audit.
The discussions covered proposed changes to Law No. 287/2017 on Accounting and Financial Reporting, updates to the National Accounting Standards and the General Chart of Accounts, as well as amendments to Law No. 271/2017 on the Audit of Financial Statements.
For investors, high-quality financial reporting, transparency and gradual alignment with European practices are essential for a competitive business environment and for strengthening confidence in the economy.
FIA will continue contributing to the consultation process, advocating for clear, practical and predictable solutions for businesses.
