On friday, 16th of December, took place another meeting of the Customs Service’s Consultative Committee. The discussions mainly focused on the changes of the procedures related to the revision and optimization of the electronic declaration process, as well as the new requirements for the clearance procedures.
The Consultative Committee has been conceived as a mechanism for strengthening the transparency of the customs authorities. For this purpose, it is intended to contribute to a higher level of knowledge among the civil society regarding the policies advocated by the Customs Service, as well as the familiarisation of entrepreneurs with the expected changes in the customs legislation.
