The presentation meeting of the preliminary results of the “Study on the Productivity and Competitiveness of the Economy of the Republic of Moldova” was held under the auspices of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
Bringing together representatives of public authorities, the business community, and other stakeholders, the purpose of the meeting was to present the main findings and preliminary conclusions of the study, as well as to collect feedback and recommendations to finalize the document and ensure its relevance for future public policies.
The study identifies eight priority sectors and nine major directions of intervention for the period 2026–2030, which will form the basis of a roadmap aimed at increasing productivity, competitiveness, and alignment with European standards.
FIA Moldova was represented by the Executive Directorate, which reiterated the importance of this study in identifying priority areas for accelerating economic growth. At the same time, emphasis was placed on the need for a common and coherent understanding of labor productivity as a central element in developing effective policies to enhance economic competitiveness.
