Public consultations on the regulatory framework of the insurance sector were held yesterday by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, in collaboration with the National Bank of Moldova (NBM).
The meeting brought together representatives of insurance companies, relevant industry associations, as well as public authorities.
Participants had the opportunity to express their views on the provisions of the draft law amending certain normative acts related to concerted activity in the insurance sector, to ask questions, and to provide practical observations for the clarification and improvement of the draft. Following the meeting, the authors are expected to finalize the draft law and to reconvene consultations with stakeholders.
