The closing event of the project “Facilitating Consumers’ Access to Redress and Complaint Resolution Mechanisms” was held under the auspices of the European Consumer Centre of the Republic of Moldova (ECC).
🤝 The event brought together representatives of public authorities, the business community, civil society, and academia, who discussed the results achieved over the past year, as well as prospects for further strengthening consumer protection mechanisms.
As part of the project, several practical tools were developed to facilitate consumers’ and professionals’ access to information and complaint resolution mechanisms:
📘 Consumer Guide on Filing Complaints;
📝 Standardized Complaint Form;
📗 Professional Guide on Handling Consumer Complaints;
ℹ️ Consumer Information Poster.
💬 Participants also discussed the challenges faced by both consumers and professionals in the complaint resolution process, the importance of direct and amicable settlement of complaints, the role of digitalization, and the need for continued cooperation among institutions and organizations involved in consumer protection.
🏢 FIA Moldova, represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, appreciates its collaboration with the ECC and emphasizes the importance of clear, accessible, and efficient complaint submission and resolution mechanisms, which should not be perceived as an administrative burden, but rather as a natural part of a responsible and transparent relationship between consumers and the business community.
