Regular informal meetings to ensure open communication with authorities and to identify priorities for joint collaboration.
On 20 February, FIA members had an informal meeting with the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Ms. Anca Dragu.
During the event, FIA members approached various issues, such as: macroeconomic perspectives and trends, mainly related to the inflation, in the context of the ongoing crisis in the region, MDL’s position towards USD and EUR, the harmonization process of the national legislation to EU legal provisions, and also were discussed certain proposals included in the White Book 2023 Edition, Financial sector Chapter.
The Governor expressed NBM’s openness towards business’ proposals and suggestions.
FIA Vice- President, Mr. Alphan Akpece, thanked Ms. Anca Dragu for the participation, reiterating the need to maintain the constructive dialogue between state authorities and business community that will improve the investment climate of our country and will attract new investors.
