Today, on June 28, members of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA Moldova) came together for a productive business breakfast with Mr. Sergiu Lazarencu, the Minister of Environment, and Mr. Grigore Stratulat, State Secretary of the ministry.The discussions were insightful, covering a range of important topics for the business community, including:
The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Implementation and reporting of ESG indicators, and the role of the Ministry in this process Participation and involvement of the Moldovan delegation at COP29 Provisions of the Law on Waste Management No. 209/2016 Implementation of the deposit system concept Accessing environmental funds by the business community, including large companies.These meetings are crucial for fostering open communication and identifying priorities for collaboration between the private sector and the authorities. The discussions were very valuable, providing clarity and strengthening the partnership with the Ministry of Environment.
