☕️ Business Breakfast with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization

Today, the FIA community had the pleasure of hosting a Business Breakfast with Eugen Osmochescu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.

The meeting provided FIA members with direct insights into recent policy developments and the Ministry’s priorities, while serving as a constructive platform for dialogue on key challenges facing the business environment—particularly those related to the legislative framework, regulatory predictability, and Moldova’s European integration path.

💬 Discussions focused on improving the investment climate, advancing the digitalization of public services, and aligning national reforms with the EU acquis. FIA members shared practical recommendations based on their operational experience, emphasizing the importance of transparent policymaking and effective implementation of reforms.

🏛️ Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Osmochescu reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to open and structured dialogue with the private sector and highlighted the strategic role of foreign investors in fostering sustainable economic growth and competitiveness.

📘 FIA remains an active partner of national and European institutions, leveraging the expertise of its members and contributing policy recommendations through initiatives such as the White Book 2025. The meeting confirmed the shared commitment to continued cooperation and follow-up dialogue on key reform priorities.
