Members of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) met for a „Business Breakfast” with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Alexandu Jizdan. During the discussions, there was outlined the need to establish a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the business community.
Alexander Koss, FIA Chairman, declared that the Association would continue to get involved and contribute to the creation of a friendly environment for investors, while welcoming the openness of the authorities for discussion and exchange of opinions with the business community in this regard.
At the same time, Alexandru Jizdan stated that he is always open for a continuous and constructive dialogue with business representatives, in order to promote pro-business policies, and to obtain viable solutions from foreign investors.
During the meeting, there were discussed various topics, as well as solution to them, such as: the activity of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division; traffic fluidization in Chisinau during rush hours; implementation of the Single Emergency Service “112”; the activity of General Police Inspectorate; the policies and strategies to prevent and fight drug and alcohol consumption; control bodies reform; the activity of Migration Bureau, etc.
Lastly, FIA members thanked the Minister for the interactive and open dialogue, expressing their hope for the operative solution of the issues mentioned at the meeting.
In his turn, Alexandru Jizdan thanked the members of the Association for cooperation with the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
