Active Dialogue with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova

Yesterday, members of the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), accompanied by the President of the association – Alphan AKPECE, met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova – Dorin RECEAN. The event was organized at the initiative of the three major business associations in Moldova: EBA, FIA, and AmCham 🤝.

The meeting served as an essential platform for an open and constructive dialogue between the business community and the Government leadership 🗣️, aiming to present the most significant challenges and obstacles faced by the local business environment 💼, as well as to discuss solutions that the Government should implement to support the business community 💡. The event also provided an opportunity to explore the strategic development directions of the Republic of Moldova for the coming years 📈 and plans for alignment with the EU acquis.

Among the key topics discussed during the meeting were:
• The current situation in the energy sector ⚡
• Government measures to support the business environment 💪
• The European Union’s Economic Growth Plan 💶
• Legislative harmonization with the EU acquis 📜
• Human capital and the import of labor force 👩‍💼👨‍💼
• Export policies 🌍
• Financial services 💳
• Infrastructure development 🏗️, etc.

This dialogue highlighted the importance of close collaboration between the public and private sectors, with the goal of creating a favorable environment for investments and sustainable economic development in the Republic of Moldova 🌱.
