On 28 July, Expert-Grup presented the Study on “Corruption risks in the state controls and entrepreneurship activity”. The analysis was conducted with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
Main conclusions: “Fighting corruption in the area of business regulation and entrepreneurial activity remains a challenge for the authorities and requires increased attention.
However, its evolution in relation to the major role of business in economic and social development has a direct impact on the country’s welfare: creating jobs, attracting investments, paying taxes into the local and national public budgets, contributing to local and regional development and raising the standard of living of the population.”
