Since 2003, the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) has represented the platform where the rules for Moldova’s development are defined. Over these years, we have consistently facilitated dialogue between the business community and the Government, proposed practical solutions through the White Book, and contributed to improving the investment climate – from predictable regulations to investment protection and fair competition.
Today, FIA’s activity is part of a broader joint effort: Moldova’s European integration. Together with our partners, we work to ensure that European standards become reality here. We support reforms and public–private dialogue, participate in discussions on Moldova’s EU accession agenda, and promote ESG practices and compliance with European requirements. All these efforts have a clear purpose: enabling companies to grow with confidence, create jobs at home, and gain full access to the European single market.
Today, FIA represents 24 companies from 14 countries, with investments of over €2.6 billion and more than 20,000 jobs created. Yet beyond the numbers, FIA stands for stability, trust, and a consistent direction: sustainable growth aligned with European standards, with investments transformed into long-term value for people and the economy.
