The Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), represented by Ana Groza, Executive Director, participated in the meeting of the Consultative Committee under the Customs Service – an institutional dialogue platform dedicated to strengthening communication and cooperation between the customs authority and the business community 🤝.
The event brought together members of the platform, including representatives of business associations, the Economic Council under the Prime Minister, and public authorities 🏛️.
The discussion agenda covered several topics of major interest for the business environment, such as the impact and benefits of implementing the New Computerised Transit System, the use of customs simplifications, the optimization of control mechanisms, as well as ensuring the uniform application of customs regulations 📑.
During the dialogue with specialists from the Customs Service, business representatives had the opportunity to put forward proposals aimed at improving the regulatory framework and policies in the field, as well as to present concrete solutions for enhancing the interaction between customs authorities and the business community 💡.
FIA Moldova, as a member of the Consultative Committee, emphasizes the importance of maintaining a constant and constructive dialogue between authorities and the business environment in order to develop modern, transparent, and predictable customs procedures 📈.
