Thursday 26 February, 2026
Start: Thursday 26 February, 2026 -

Today, the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA) hosted a workshop entitled “The Culture of Trust and Its Direct Impact on Engagement, Loyalty and Team Performance”, bringing together HR leaders from our member companies.

The session provided an interactive platform for dialogue and exchange of best practices, exploring how a trust-based organizational environment can drive sustainable results and long-term competitive advantage.

Key discussion points included:
• how trust translates into authentic engagement and long-term loyalty;
• employee dedication as an outcome of culture — not control mechanisms;
• adapting leadership styles to the expectations of Generations Z and Alpha, for whom traditional approaches are no longer relevant;
• the role of personal development, individuality, and even hobbies in enhancing performance and business outcomes;
• trust as a strategic driver of talent retention and team efficiency.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Serghei Elinic, HR Business Partner at Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery, for his valuable insights, practical examples, and applied perspective on strengthening trust-based leadership.

Through initiatives like this, FIA continues to facilitate knowledge exchange among its members and promote modern management practices essential for building resilient companies and a competitive economy in the Republic of Moldova.
