A roundtable discussion on the topic “Government Factoring – a solution for revitalizing the agricultural sector in the Republic of Moldova” was held under the auspices of the Independent Analytical Center “Expert-Grup.”
The event aimed to achieve several key objectives:
• Presenting the Government Factoring mechanism;
• Discussing the regulatory framework needed for the effective implementation of this instrument in the Republic of Moldova;
• Analyzing the possibility of developing an electronic platform for the certification, verification, and tracking of budgetary receivables;
• Valuating the potential for partnerships with the banking sector to support the implementation of Government Factoring.
During the discussions, representatives of FIA member companies from the banking sector shared their views on the feasibility of applying this financial instrument in the national context.
