The 2025 edition of the Grants Program Event – OTP Bank

The 2025 edition of the Grants Program Event was held recently, during which the OK Financial Education Foundation, together with 32 other youth organizations, presented the impressive results of the project “OK Youth – Financial Education for a Prosperous Future.”

The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 9,500 direct beneficiaries – young people who learned how to manage money wisely

  • 15 localities covered: Chișinău, Bălți, Orhei, Cimișlia, Cantemir, Fălești, Florești, Râșcani, Criuleni, Ceadîr-Lunga, Anenii Noi, Briceni, Ocnița, Dondușeni, Drochia, and Telenești

  • 3,100 young people participated in the interactive Financial Sprint workshops

  • 70 participants attended the Financial Education Camp with overnight stay (5 days in Vadul lui Vodă)

  • 285 young people tested through the Financial Quiz – a national financial knowledge competition

  • 5,000 educational brochures “First Steps in Financial Education” distributed

Why does this project matter?
Because financial education is not just about numbers and theories—it means learning:

  • How to save for your dreams

  • How to make informed financial decisions

  • How to plan a responsible budget

  • How to protect yourself from financial risks

Interactive methods—school workshops, educational camps, and engaging competitions—have turned learning into a practical and memorable experience for thousands of young people across the country.

Every financially educated young person becomes an ambassador of change within their own family and community. Investing in their education today translates into stability, responsibility, and prosperity for future generations.

At OTP Bank, it is believed that a strong financial culture is the foundation of a prosperous society. That is why the company supports initiatives that contribute to shaping a generation that is better informed, more aware, and better prepared for life’s challenges.
