Solidarity FabLab from Orange. Preparing youth for future jobs
Orange Moldova Foundation invites young men and women from the Singerei, Orhei and Soroca to take part to Solidarity FabLab, an innovative hub where technology, innovation and creativity came together to showcase the future of jobs.
The trainings are addressed to young people aged 14 – 25, eager to discover and work for a month with production technologies: a cutter (CO2 CNC Laser), a digital sewing machine, applications with embedded devices (Embedded Systems), a 3D printer. The schedule is based on a curriculum developed within the program, through which youth acquire necessary skills to enter and adapt to tomorrow labor market challenges and taste from future professions: counselor or educator robot, digital tailor, data protection officer, smart home design officer, plastics material regeneration operator, etc.
Trough Solidarity FabLab, a digital training program for youth in the field of digital production, Orange reconfirms its commitments assumed in Engage 2025 strategic plan: reducing inequalities related to Internet access, digital devices, so that technology become a source of progress and opportunities for all.
