Solidarity and support to the Ukrainian people: PETROM
From free fuel to hosting refugee families. Petrom Moldova is working to help Ukrainian citizens.
In the last two weeks, hundreds of thousands of refugees have arrived in Moldova after fleeing the war. From the first days, Petrom has been concentrating its efforts on being with the people of the neighboring country and providing them with the necessary supplies.
Thus, in collaboration with charitable organizations such as the Social Mission “Diaconia” and “Ajuta un OM”, Petrom supported the urgent purchase of clothing for children and adults, basic necessities, food, while also providing free fuel to responds to the transport and first aid needs of refugees.
Moreover, most of Petrom’s employees in Chisinau decided to “adopt” a refugee family.
Solidarity in this difficult time is more than necessary and it is our duty to be with the people who need support and warmth. We thank the charity organizations who worked with us, and we are grateful for their dedication and compassion. We remain open to continue helping those who need us so much during these times.
Boxes for collecting non-perishable products have been installed at several Petrom stations, which will then be distributed to refugees. Thus, anyone can contribute to helping the citizens of Ukraine.
Boxes are located at the following addresses:
