The main mission of the Association is to facilitate the dialogue between relevant decision makers and foreign investors in order to create a sound environment for the foreign direct investment.
The cooperation between the members of the association and the Moldovan authorities covers a wide range of domains and subjects.
The issues affecting the investment climate, identified by the Association, are included on the discussion agenda with the Moldovan authorities. Experts from member companies formulate for the Moldovan authorities recommendations aiming at creation of a more attractive investment climate.
The landmarks of the Association in its dialogue with the Moldovan authorities were, each time, the European Union’s experience and legislation: the creation of an efficient legal framework for the protection of the competition, the improvement of the labor relations regulations, the harmonization of the fiscal and corporate governance legislation etc.
Among other current activities of FIA are those related to the Association’s membership in the: Working Group of the State Commission for the Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activity, Prime Minister’s Economic Council, National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova etc.
