Eurofarmaco SA is a foreign capital company founded in 1997, by the British Company GSK, residing in Chisinau. It is a part of Ropharma SA holding, that became the main shareholder of the Eurofarmaco in 2010. Main areas of the company’s activity are production and distribution of the medicine products, drugs and food supplements.
Currently, Eurofarmaco produces 97 types of drugs, that covers more that 10 different categories of pharm-therapeutic products, that are distributed on Moldovan, Romanian, Ukrainian and Belarus markets. Investment plan in the Eurofarmaco Company was related to modernization of the technologies and production terms. Investment also modernized technical procedures of quality insurance and control.
Since then Eurofarmaco witnessed a positive and dinamyc evolution, today being one of the country’s leaders in medicine and suplements production. Comany’s production quality is certificated according with the European standard in medicine manufacuring, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), that recognize the highest level quality of production and conditioning of various drug types like, pills, capsules, syrops, tablets, products of external use, sprays of various type etc.
Eurofarmaco take an important stance on development of the drug industry by investing in research and development of a new, more efficient drugs. Company’s RD department works in partnership with the researchers and experts from Universities and research centres from Chisinau, and main pharmaceutical research centres from Romania, in Bucuresti, Iasi, Cluj and Tirgu Mures.
