Training session for SMEs on applying ESG principles

📢 The National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova (Confederaţia Naţională a Patronatului din RM – CNPM) and the Foreign Investors Association (FIA Moldova), with support from Dansk Industri – DI and financing from theNew Democracy Fund, organized a comprehensive training session for SMEs on applying ESG principles 🌍 ♻️ and non-financial reporting. The event took place on the 18th and 19th of November 2024.

The session opened with remarks from Ms. Veronica Arpintin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.

This workshop brought together 20 managers representing 17 SMEs to explore essential topics related to sustainability and non-financial reporting.

Key highlights included practical examples of ESG reporting presented by FIA members Efes Moldova and Moldcell, showcasing real-world applications and benefits.

By adopting ESG principles, companies not only support sustainable development but also align with international standards, enhancing their competitiveness in global markets and advancing Moldova’s European integration aspirations.
