🔹 Training “Gender Equality in the Workplace”
On September 19, the Foreign Investors Association in the Republic of Moldova (FIA Moldova), in collaboration with UN Women Moldova and the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of Moldova, with the support of Danish Industry (DI) and funding from the New Democracy Fund, organized a training dedicated to “Gender Equality in the Workplace.”
✨ The event opened with a welcome speech by H.E. Søren JENSEN, Ambassador of Denmark to Moldova, and focused on exploring both the international and national legal frameworks on gender equality, as well as UN Women’s contribution to promoting the Women’s Empowerment Principles.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in a practical exercise led by Ms. Clara HALVORSEN, Senior Consultant in Global Development and Sustainability at DI, with a focus on implementing policies and tools to combat workplace harassment.
Ana Groza, Executive Director of FIA Moldova, shared concrete examples of best practices in applying gender equality principles within the Association’s member companies.
