On October 19th, 14.00 FIA representative along with other members of the Economic Council to the Prime minister participated to the discussions and debates related to the bill drafted by the Ministry of Justice (ammendments to The Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code and the Contravention Code) that aims to reduce constraints and risks to the business community caused by the current sanctions system.
The state wants to decriminalize economic activity by liberalizing some provisions of the Criminal Code in relation to businesses. The idea of the reform is to apply pecuniary sanctions instead of criminal or administrative penalties.
