On 13 May, public consultations on the Draft law amending the Labor Code, submitted by the Parliamentarians Marina Morozova, Dan Perciun and Radu Marian were held.
Also, the modernization of the Labor Code and the alignment to the provisions of labor legislation from developed countries with a prosperous economy is an imperative requirement in the context of the existing socio-economic realities in the Republic of Moldova.
The amendments provided by the draft law will create better working conditions, that will generate a mutually beneficial situation for employees and employers.
Thus, Cristina Tiscul, FIA project manager expressed the Association’s support for the draft law, based on the fact that many amendments correspond to the proposals formulated in the White Book, 2021 Edition. However, FIA will submit a written Position Paper with some proposals for improvement.
