Start: Friday 09 October, 2020 - 12.00
A new series of webinars ‘Promoting Good Governance and Enhancing Anti-corruption Efforts in the OSCE Area through the Use of Open Data and New Digital Technologies’ started today.
FIA attended the kick-off meeting on the topic of ‘Addressing Emerging Economic and Good Governance Challenges through Open Data and Digital Tools”. Discussions were mainly focused on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), lifting of trade restriction policies, and other effective emergency economic policies. Also, special attention was paid to the use of data and digital platforms in strengthening beneficial (open) ownership and its importance in safeguarding a positive investment climate as attracting investment becomes even more important with remittances dropping and the decrease in economic flows.
FIA is also a strong promoter of digitalization processes being a phenomenon that will have positive effects on competition, will bring transparency and will facilitate the B2B and B2G relations.
FIA was represented by Ms Cristina Tiscul, Project Manager.
