On 25 April, the FIA Moldova executive team had a meeting with Ms Milica Miskovic, an expert hired by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitisation of the Republic of Moldova with the support of the USAID Moldova Institutional and Structural Reforms (MISRA) Programme.
đź’ˇ This meeting took place in the framework of a readiness assessment exercise for the implementation of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) reporting indicators in the Republic of Moldova.
✅️ The purpose of this review is to assess reporting requirements under ESG standards adapted to different economic sectors, to examine reporting practices and to make recommendations for the transposition of EU Directives and Regulations. All this – in order to establish a regulatory framework for reporting, including recommendations on possible fiscal incentives that could facilitate its implementation.
Ms Groza, Executive Director, shared the experience of the association’s members in terms of advanced knowledge, implementation and reporting on ESG criteria.
