Meeting of the Taskforce ,,Reduction of informal employment and payment of "envelope wages""

A meeting of the Taskforce ,,Reduction of informal employment and payment of “envelope wages””, on the platform of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister was held on 25 November 2022.
Thus, representatives of the business sector discussed with Mr. Marcel Spatari, Minister of Labor, a number of important topics, including:
– the need to update the legislation on health and safety at work for remote workers,
– the increase of the ceiling for meal vouchers up to 100 MDL, as well as for organized meals,
– granting a one-off non-taxable allowance for employees as a measure of support during the cold season, etc.
