From the beginning of the pandemic, the commercial units continued to operate, being on the front line, and, despite all the challenges encountered, they managed to face this difficult period. The number one priority was to take care of employees and customers by ensuring compliance with all rules and protection measures prescribed by the authorities.
The management of ICS METRO Cash & Carry SA, during the informal meeting with FIA executive director, Ms. Ana Groza, mentioned the need to develop and approve by the central and local public authorities clear, uniform and transparent regulations for effective crisis management. At the same time, the need to comply with these rules by all market players was noted.
A series of meetings of FIA executive management with its members take place to update the Association’s Agenda of interaction between foreign investors and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, but also to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the economy and business environment.
