In line with the motto of the Association of Foreign Investors (FIA Moldova) “Together for Moldova’s People”, “Investing in Moldova’s Future”, “Foreign Investors for Moldova’s Sustainable Development” and based on the fact that FIA Moldova members are the ones who introduced the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Republic of Moldova, in February 2023, the executive management of the Association invited its members to join another initiative, making an essential contribution to the Centre for the Elderly and People with Disabilities in Criuleni.
Due to the considerable contribution from the members, more needs were met than planned. Thus, four greenhouses and a gazebo were built: Criuleni city, Sărata Galbenă village, Cocieri village and Chisinau.
The project was implemented by the NGO Fabrica de Fericire, founded by Steluța Andrei – whom we thank for all her support.
The inauguration event of the project took place on December 4, 2023, at the “Alexandra Grajdian” Placement Centre for Elderly and Disabled People, with the participation of the members of the Association, the executive management, the representative of the UN Moldova, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, the representatives of Criuleni City Hall, Fabrica de Fericire, TVR Moldova.
