Within the “Strengthening the Monitoring Capacity of Civil Society in Moldova” Project, the Independent Analytical Center Expert-Grup is performing a Study on the evaluation of the SME sector in order to identify the main legislative / institutional shortcomings that potentially pave the way for corruption.
In this context, on 10 May, a focus group was convened in which the following issues were addressed:
✅Legislative deficiencies that can generate acts of corruption;
✅ State institutions with a high degree of corruption;
✅ Cases of abuse of control bodies;
✅ The tendency of SMEs to offer bribes for solving cases of deviation from the regulatory framework;
✅ State actions to reduce the phenomenon of corruption in order to protect the business environment.
