Regular informal meetings to ensure open communication with the authorities and identify priorities for joint collaboration.
Today, FIA members met with Victor Parlicov, Minister of Energy and Alexandru Morcov, Head of Cabinet.
The discussions were productive and optimistic as the Minister spoke about the Government’s actions to ensure energy security by purchasing gas reserves in the summer period to ensure reasonable prices in the winter season for consumers. Thus, encouraging forecasts for the cold season, compared to the previous year, were given.
At the same time, a number of topics of interest were addressed, including:
✅️ Promoting the use of energy from renewable sources on a non-discriminatory basis for all producers in the market and promoting support programmes similar to those in EU countries;
✅️ Ensuring transparency and clarity in energy policy;
✅️ National provisions similar to the EU Green Energy Strategy;
✅️ And others, which fall under the competence of the Ministry.
