🤝 Today, members of the Foreign Investors Association met with the Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, accompanied by Corina Ajder, Secretary of State of the Ministry, to discuss a number of key issues for business and employees.
📌 During the discussions, the challenges of the business community regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, training of employees and the performance of mandatory prophylactic medical examinations, as well as changes in their frequency were addressed.
Also discussed were the regulations on the regime of foreigners regarding the opportunity to offer non-resident citizens the “average” wage on the economy.
Company experts also raised the value of meal vouchers, proposing the exclusion of social security contributions and the digitization of employee training processes.
Working with labour offices to integrate foreign nationals and the digitization of labour relations were other topics discussed.
Discussions also included the reform of the State Labour Inspectorate, with expectations and anticipated results.
This meeting reflects the joint commitment to improving working conditions and creating a favourable business environment in Moldova in the context of the EU accession process. 🇲🇩🇪🇺
