CSR project “Development of gastronomic culture in Moldova” – METRO

On 7 July, 16 teachers from 14 vocational-technical schools in the field of catering and gastronomy participated in a master-class organised by METRO company, with chef Andrei Latul as chef.
Because METRO is a promoter of education and social responsibility, two chefs from the organization “Cherry Blossom” were also invited to train their talents at the workshop.

The social enterprise aims to contribute to community development and create new opportunities for socio-vocational training and employment of disadvantaged people.

The gastronomic workshop took place within the project “Development of gastronomic culture in Moldova through continuous training of human resources for the HoReCa sector” and aims at continuous education of HoReCa specialists and promotion of gastronomic culture in the Republic of Moldova.

The workshop was supported by METRO – a reliable partner in training HoReCa specialists and promoting gastronomic culture.
