On May 30th, 2018 members of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) had an informal meeting with Mr. Gheorghe Gaberi, General Director of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA).
During the event, FIA members approached topics related to the Agency competence, such as: the procedure for the export and/or transit of the composite products manufactured on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, the raw materials certificates of harmlessness, presented by the farmers, as well as the norms of the active substance of herbicides, used for plant protection. Also, the participants were interested in the measures taken by the Agency with regards to the separation of the dairy products containing vegetable fats, as well as in the ANSA recommendations related to the selling of food products within the filling stations.
At the end, those attending the event agreed upon the need to convene systematic and thematic meetings, with the participation of ANSA experts and FIA member companies, to find the solutions for the issues approached during the meeting.
